Wood is Stone: Stone is Wood

‘Shift’ finds itself in a precarious position, nature is going to alter the piece, as superb as it is now, it’s new shape will be a mystery. A form may go through many facets in its descent into decay. I am intrigued by the changing of wood to stone. To live in someone else’s skin is to create empathy. I have always loved making something look like it is something else. This is part of a series of intelligent rocks in that their design is intelligent and that the universe is connected and malleable.
